At Triffid Park

We have had many great comments from our customers over the years regarding our plants and service, and now with our new web site. Thank you to everyone who has written.
Here are just a few of the letters that we
have received.

Australian koala sent to Nong in Thailand from Triffid Park, hanging from Nong's Nepenthes.

Dear Donna,
I've received them with naughty Koala,
Thanks, Nong.

Queensland, Australia - 1st September 2006
Dear Donna,
Plants arrived Friday last week all in good condition. Planted them on the Saturday into pots, and they've just received a week of (unusual) rain here in Brisbane. So they are looking good.
Certainly an easy way to find CPs. Wish I'd found out about you guys a while ago. In the past I've just had to keep an eye out at nurseries and KMart and pick up things there. They never stock anything like an Albany Pitcher Plant!
cheers,
Lincoln

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to write and thank you for the quick service on our last order. The plants arrived in great condition just a couple days before we were leaving for the conference and it was a mad dash to get them prepped. I would have written earlier but we had no time before we left and just returned yesterday. The S. x courtii were simply amazing and sold out in Maryland. The conference was great as well with some very interesting papers being presented and a lot of information being exchanged (as well as a beer or two!). We were very happy with the plants and plan to continue ordering in the future.
Thanks again for going above and beyond and I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,
Richard Revis

Dear Carnivorous Plant Wizards:
The Venus Flytraps all arrived safely yesterday. They  were in wonderful shape. The plants were much larger than I had expected. Very impressive. Wish I would have had the courage to place an order sooner.
Thanks for all your consideration.
Sincerely,
Durell Nelson

Hello Donna,
Just a note to offer some feedback on a delivery I received early
in March and how pleased I am.  I transplanted 10 VFT's, no actually 11, a tiny one got past you :-)  All 11 are well and thriving with new off-shoots.
They are indoors on window sills.
When anyone asks how I came by these interesting plants you will be
highly recommended.
Thanks again.
Regards, Bob Byrne

Dear Colin and Tina
Yoko and I have arrived at our home safely on 26th Oct.
Thank you very much for your kindness and lunch.
Lunch was pleasant and good. Thanks Tina.
We realized that Donna's sun , Kyle , can walk by himself , that was our most biggest impression.  This was interested that we can realize growing of someone's kid.     We wish your family's best wishes into the future.
Thank you very much once again and I hope that  we can meet with you all at next year as well.
Thank you.
Best Regards
Yusuke Kondo

Hi Donna,

Hong Yee here from Singapore - I just visited your website, and I must say it's really a huge improvement over the old one with the black background! Love the fact that I can now actually view pictures of the plants you are selling! If I could just make a suggestion: it would be good if you could put a "NEW!" tag on updated plants, so that at a look we'd be able to see what plants have been added on to your catalog. This is especially so for your very extensive Sarracenia selection, since in the past I had to go through line by line to see what new plants have been added.
Once again, keep up the good job! I'm amidst building a new plant rack in my garden, and you can be sure I'll be contacting you again in the near future to place a good order to fill up that new CP rack of mine!
Best regards,
Hong Yee

Hi Donna,
Congratulation on the new web site.  Haven't had a really close browse yet, but what I've seen has been great.
Well done!  (I've made mention of it in the next VCPS journal.)

Hi Donna,
I received the sarracenias and the drosera this morning via hand delivery from the Post Office.
The plants are lovely Ė the sarracenias seem to already have flower buds shooting up!  The drosera looks amazing, so delicate.  They are resting in 0.5cm Bellís pure water in an ice cream bucket next to a window.  Iíll pot them on Saturday.  I love them!

Many thanks,
Mei Wong-Nichols

Dear Mr. Colin Clayton,
Thank you very much for sending me the books I received last week..
I really enjoyed travelling around Australia and could see many kinds of carnivorous plants. I was glad to visit Triffid Park, too.
I'm looking forward to the new book of carnivorous plants you are
writing now.
Sincerely yours,

Dear Donna, About ten days have passed since the notice of my IPMO
remittance to you of 13 Feb.2003.But I have not received yet the parcel from you. I wonder if your delivery is delayed, because you are famous as quick shipper during Japanese C.P. growers. So, please let me know your delivery condition. Best regards, Masaki Yamamuro,

Dear My Triffid Park, Colin, Tina, and Donna, Hello! This is Masufumi Okauchi,
The plants have arrived safely and lively. I received them last night. Thank you so much for your having sent me very good Cephalotus! And,  I am also grateful to you for your sending a free Pinguicula! When seeing the Pinguicula at first, I could not realize it free, thinking "Was it sent by mistake?". They made me relieved so much, and I express my heartfelt thanks to you. I was so excited that I could not sleep well last night... I replanted them at once.
Lastly, I thank you a lot for your kind and quick correspondence. In
Japanese, "Korekaramo yoroshiku onegaishimasu".
Yours faithfully,
Masufumi Okauchi
